چکیده
With the broad applications of two-dimensional transition, metal dichalcogenides in gas sensing prompt us to investigate adsorption and properties bare metal-decorated tungsten disulfide (WS 2 ) interaction with nonanal octanal molecules by using first-principles methods. In this regard, calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) have been employed study detection as well-known breast cancer biomarkers. The results showed that pristine WS monolayer is not appropriate develop sensors for target. Based detailed DFT calculations, decoration surface Ni Pt could enhance sensitivity tune energy bandgap. present suggested has increased ?2.59 ?2.34 eV after Ni-decorated . addition, enhanced significantly, recovery time 7.76 s was achieved gas. As a result, decorated -based nanosensor might be an auspicious platform detection. Undoubtedly, work can open up prospect use excellent Ni-/Pt-decorated materials achieve high-efficiency molecules.

A first-principles study of gas adsorption on germanene.
The adsorption of common gas molecules (N2, CO, CO2, H2O, NH3, NO, NO2, and O2) on germanene is studied with density functional theory. The results show that N2, CO, CO2, and H2O are physisorbed on germanene via van der Waals interactions, while NH3, NO, NO2, and O2 are chemisorbed on germanene via strong covalent (Ge-N or Ge-O) bonds. The chemisorption of gas molecules on germanene opens a ban...
متن کاملAdsorption of Gas Molecules on Graphene Doped with Mono and Dual Boron as Highly Sensitive Sensors and Catalysts
First-principle calculations have been investigated to study the adsorption of the molecules (SO2, CO, NH3, CO2, NO2, and NO) on the surface of mono boron (B) B-doped and dual B-doped graphene sheets to explore their potential applications as sensors. Our findings indicate that the adsorption of (CO and NH3) on B-doped graphene and (CO and ...
